Photos - Speaker Series - Management & Leadership Program

Belinda Whittaker from Pitt Business was our latest guest speaker in our series.

She discussed with those present the Management and Leadership Program (MLP) which is a two-week program, held at the University of Pittsburgh, located in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. It is a unique opportunity for international undergraduate students to travel abroad, study under renowned professors, and explore the operations of American and Canadian companies. She showed how participation in the MLP significantly enhances one's university experience both academically and culturally and will include students from all over Europe and South America. In this program students will visit large corporations such as Bombardier and American Eagle Outfitters, Inc.
Class topics include strategic planning and development, leadership and communication, business ethics, and international finance.

The MLP will give students the opportunity to engage in a unique, credit worthy learning experience and to develop themselves as global citizens. The program provides students with a chance to immerse themselves in the history and corporate culture of another country, while gaining a distinct competitive edge in the employment market.

Many graduate schools and potential employers seek candidates with international experience who have the skills to succeed in an ever-changing global marketplace.
